Photo Essay: Coyoacan Bride | San Diego Photographer

Traditional Mexican Wedding

In barrio Coyoacan there was a wedding on 2-9-08.  I was lucky enough to be out on a photo hunt when I noticed the scene develop.

Father and bride speak to priest before walking down the isle.

Portrait Session: Freddy Molina | San Diego Photographer

Dramatic Profile Portrait

I wanted to have that silhouette effect but still see Freddy’s face.

Setup Info:
- The first strobe gelled to make that rich red and it creates separation between Freddy’s head and the background.
-The second strobe creates a rim to outline Freddy’s face.

Graffiti Mexico City: Serenading Skeleton by “Calle” | San Diego Travel Photographer

Graffiti on a street in Barrio Copilco in Mexico City

On the way to “Mercado Copilco” (Copilco street market) I came across this cool graffiti.

I love mexico.  Mexico is pasionate.  Take this for example.  It has the moon, a heart, a saranade and a celebration of ancestors in the spirit of Day of the Dead.  Maybe I’m reading into it too much.

What do you see?

Black Cat Crossed My Path in New Orleans | San Diego Travel Photographer

The frendliest stray cat I’ve ever met in a Cementery

While visiting the St. Louis Cemetery #1 in New Orlans, I crossed pathes with this awesome cat.  He was super nice and walked right up to me as I tried to frame this shot.

Happy Halloween!
